The density of the thin PMMA substrate is approximately 1.19g/cm³, only 50% that of glass. At 2mm thickness, a single 1220×2440mm sheet weighs less than 6kg, significantly reducing handling and installation stress. Its impact resistance is 10–17 times that of glass of the same thickness, effectively reducing the risk of transport damage and accidental breakage during use.
The vacuum aluminum coating process ensures a mirror reflectivity of 85%–95%, resulting in clear images and a distortion rate of less than 2‰. Even at a thickness of 0.8mm, it maintains flatness and optical stability, meeting the most demanding requirements for decoration, optical reflection, and display applications.
Seven color ranges are available: silver, gold, rose gold, bronze, gray, blue, and red. Adjustable hues are achieved through PVD or spray coating. The color withstands 3–5 years of outdoor use, resists fading and yellowing, and can be customized in batches to match your project's color scheme.
It can be processed using laser cutting, engraving, CNC, hot bending, or drilling, resulting in smooth, chip-free edges. The smallest cutting unit can reach 30×30mm, meeting complex shapes and small-batch customization needs. It is commonly used in DIY, construction decoration, and industrial parts.
Even under strong impact, the material only produces blunt cracks without sharp fragments, reducing the risk of cuts. Thicknesses of 1.5mm and above meet the EN12600 shatterproof safety standard, making it suitable for use in areas with high traffic or children's play.
The surface offers excellent moisture and UV resistance, with a water absorption rate of ≤0.3%. It remains resistant to deformation and fogging even under long-term exposure to heat, humidity, or sunlight. A scratch-resistant coating can be added to the surface, increasing its hardness to 2–3 hours, effectively extending the mirror's lifespan.
In the living rooms or bedrooms of villas and luxury homes, thin acrylic mirrors allow for large-scale decorative applications. Their lightweight design eliminates the need for heavy hangings, reducing the burden on the wall. Their multi-color finish blends seamlessly with modern minimalist, European, or light luxury styles.
Installing a large 1220×2440mm acrylic mirror in a dance studio or gym ensures clear images while minimizing the risk of glass breakage. It is suitable for spaces with high traffic and intense activity.
Retail brands can use thin, lightweight mirrored backing sheets instead of glass, reducing transportation and installation costs while enhancing display reflections and adding a more three-dimensional effect to their products.
In kindergartens, parent-child play areas, or sensory integration classrooms, the safety and shatterproof properties prevent children from accidental collisions and injuries. The mirror surface also facilitates interactive play and teaching activities.
Used for wall and ceiling decoration in the lobby, corridors, or private rooms of star-rated hotels, thin-film acrylic mirrors can be created in curved, custom-shaped, or spliced shapes, maintaining a luxurious reflective effect and easy maintenance.
At exhibitions, lightweight thin-film mirrors can be quickly cut into custom shapes and mounted on booth backdrops. Combined with lighting, they create a strong visual impact and are easily removable and reusable. Partnering Brands: CES and Canton Fair Exhibitors.
Curved thin-film mirrors can be installed at the corners of supermarket shelves, in parking lots, and in storage areas. They serve as wide-angle surveillance devices. Their lightweight design allows for direct mounting to lightweight walls or ceiling systems.
